Last In Conversation.jpg

This event is presented as part of Front Beach, Back Beach (FBBB), an exciting new project delivered by Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery and Deakin University's Public Art Commission. FBBB has commissioned leading Australian artists to respond to key sites and stories that have shaped the Mornington Peninsula. For the full program visit www.fbbb.com.au

Mangroves and Tidal Systems: A conversation between LAST Collective and Westernport Seagrass Partnership.

LAST Collective's work 'Notes on Light and Air (Shoreline Score)' responds to the topography of Jacks Beach, with Westernport boasting the southern most mangroves in the world. In this conversation the artists will be joined by the Westernport Seagrass Partnership, a local Environmental Organisation committed to protecting and restoring the region to a state that can sustain a healthy, diverse and naturally productive ecosystem.

Attendance is free, however we require registration so we can ensure that audience numbers are appropriate for the location, and to ensure we can keep you updated with any changes.
