Art Collections do not just exist. They are formed by the ebb and flow of the prevailing shifts in the art world; constructions of time, energy, money and the knowledge, vision and ambition of the people responsible for crafting them. The MPRG Collection has grown since 1970 to now include over 2000 artworks, with a focus on works on paper. 

Presented here are a selection of works by three artists from our permanent collection featuring a number of works that have recently been donated and not displayed before. Our collection continues to grow and diversify through the generous donations by artists and collectors and our National Works on Paper prize.
