One of Australia’s oldest, most prestigious and often controversial art awards, the Archibald Prize is renowned for its portraits of Australians from diverse areas of public life – from politics and entertainment to sport and the arts. This year’s touring exhibition at the Tarrawarra Museum of Art, set in the picturesque Yarra Valley, is a great opportunity to see all the finalists in this year’s award. Courtesy cars are available between the bus park and exhibition, if required.

Enjoy a coffee or wine tasting before or after the exhibition, browse Australian made crafts at the Tarrawarra gift shop and take in the stunning views. Lunch at own cost at the renowned Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery in Yarra Glen. Choose from a wide range of tasty dishes using ingredients from their kitchen garden, indulge your sweet tooth with a delicious, freshly made pastry or artisan ice cream, and watch the chocolatiers at work before we return to the MPRG by 4.30pm.
