MPRG Connect: Photographing your work

IMG_6063.jpg

The first in a series of workshops as part of MPRG Connect, providing professional development and support to artists local to the Mornington Peninsula. Join the MPRG Connect network for this hands-on workshop which will demonstrate how to capture high-quality digital images of both two- and three-dimensional artwork. Strong images are important for websites, social media, exhibition and grant proposals. Whilst covering professional standards the session will teach participants how to harness the tools they have access to – be it a SLR, point and shoot or a camera phone.

Following an instructional tutorial participants will be invited to create their own images.

The session will be facilitated by photographer Mark Ashkanasy, who comes with thirty years’ experience, specialising in exhibition installation photography and digitisation for national and international museums and galleries including ACMI, RMIT Gallery and MPRG.

Light refreshments upon arrival.

Places are limited, booking is essential.
