prisms is MPRG’s gallery zine, publishing behind-the-scene views into our offices, collection stores, install changeovers and the minds of our Gallery staff. A space to spotlight the dynamic Mornington Peninsula arts scene, share the Gallery’s dreams, desires, heartaches, headaches, reflect on the work we do and why we do it. The zine hopes to offer insights to public audiences and industry colleagues, encouraging a more reflexive and critical work practice. In the digital / marketing age, prisms reclaims printed form within public gallery publishing practices, marking a space for design and written experimentation.
