Vera Möller - sea.liquid.sensation.flux.space - MPRG Local focus
Living in Flinders for nearly a decade Möller has produced work in response to the marine life of Westernport Bay, Port Phillip Bay and the Bass Strait Coast. These bodies of water form part of the Great Southern Reef, an extraordinarily bio-diverse marine environment of enormous proportions.

This show will bring together new small and large scale works. It will include an array of diverse materials ranging from drawings and watercolours to collages, objects, and paintings. It will also feature a selection of works from Möller’s studio collection.

Layers of Blak - presented by The Koorie Heritage Trust
Bringing beauty to an ugly and brutal history, 11 Victorian First Nations Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and designers, have wrestled with colonial history to present their stories, layered with meaning – of healing, resilience, collaboration and empowerment. This is powerful storytelling through exquisite contemporary jewellery.

Layers of Blak is the exhibition outcome from the Blak Design program. Now in its second year, it is presented by the KHT to foster First Nations cultural innovation within the Victorian design sector and provide a platform for nurturing sustainable, First Nations design practices.

We are also presenting a Collection focus show in our refreshed foyer gallery presenting six stunning large scale prints by Michael Cook from his Invasion series, that were donated by the artist in 2021.
