Art collections do not just exist. They are formed by the ebb and flow of the prevailing shifts in the art world; constructions of time, energy, money and the knowledge, vision and ambition of the people responsible for crafting them.

We are proud to present a selection of works acquired over the last two years. Our collection continues to grow and diversify through the generous donations by artists and collectors, through our National Works on Paper prize and a surprise bequest. Includes works by Sidney Nolan, Roger Kemp, Milton Moon, Michael Cook, Siri Hayes, Jenna Lee, Winsome Jobling, Robert Fielding, Linda Puna, Timothy Cook, Elizabeth Banfield and more.
