AN MPRG exhibition

Coinciding with the National Gallery of Victoria restaging the iconic 1968 exhibition The Field in May 2018, MPRG delves into its own collection and uncover a selection of abstract works from the three years following The Field exhibition 1969-1971. The MPRG collection began in 1970 and there are many large-scale non-objective paintings and prints from this pivotal time in Australian art. Presented in three parts this exhibition will rediscover hidden gems within the collection.
