Curators Floor Talk: Wall Drawings
One of the most rewarding and meaningful experiences you can have in a Gallery is to be guided through the exhibition by the individuals who curated it.
Join Danny Lacy, MPRG Creative Director and Ellinor Pelz as they discuss their recent collaboration and the processes behind curating the show. Wall Drawings brings together eleven leading contemporary artists from across Australia and explores the expansive nature of drawings, paintings and situating newly commissioned wall-based works throughout the Gallery.
Ellinor Pelz is a Melbourne-based writer, curator and senior associate at STATION Gallery Australia. She holds her Masters of Art Curatorship and Honours of Fine Art from the University of Melbourne. Ellinor has undertaken curatorial positions at NG Art Creative Residency, France; The National Art School, Sydney; The Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (MPRG), Mornington and Michael Reid Gallery, Sydney. On a freelance basis, Ellinor has contributed writing to Artist Profile, Art Collector, MPRG and the Australian Catholic University.
