Exhibition floor talk with MPRG Registrar, Ainsley Gowing

MPRG Registrar Ainsley Gowing has worked closely with Melbourne based artist Louise Rippert to curate Forms of Remembering a paired exhibition with dynamic New Zealand contemporary artist Steve Carr. The exhibition highlights work made by each artist over the past 20 years, alongside newly commissioned projects.

This is the second iteration of our ambitious new Collection+ series which looks at a number of unifying themes within the artists’ work – time, repetition, stillness and tension, circular references and mandalas, structure behind simplicity, memories and family generations. This is a free event but please register your attendance as numbers are limited.
