Hiromi Hotel - Open Afternoon
This event is presented as part of Front Beach, Back Beach (FBBB), an exciting new project delivered by Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery and Deakin University's Public Art Commission. FBBB has commissioned leading Australian artists to respond to key sites and stories that have shaped the Mornington Peninsula. For the full program visit www.fbbb.com.au
Hiromi Hotel Art Garden is a participatory art project, using tactile, recycled materials and elements of rainbow healing colours to create sculptural objects inspired by plants and flowers. Exploring mindful art-making, through the use of colour, light and texture, Tango gently transforms how we relate to our environment and each other. Come along to Beleura and experience Hiromi's sculptural installation in the kitchen garden and take part in a creative workshop led by local artists where you can add to the colourful assemblage.
Parking is at Mornington Golf Club, with a shuttle bus running at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Attendance is free, however we require registration so we can ensure that audience numbers are appropriate for the location, and to ensure we can keep you updated with any changes.
