School holiday workshop for ages 9+ Working with Kelp!

Working with MPRG exhibiting artist Beverley Meldrum and the Gallery's artist/educator Jill Anderson, learn about Beverley’s contemporary indigenous practice whilst creating your own inspired kelp object.

Beverley grew up on the South Australian coast and now lives here on the Mornington Peninsula where she is inspired to showcase the healing properties of the ocean through her work.

Kelp is protected under the marine resources act but can be collected by Aboriginal people for cultural purposes.
