Local artist Emma Davies transforms humble industrial materials into ethereal textile sculptures inspired by the natural beauty of the Mornington Peninsula. This solo exhibition showcases sculptures meticulously crafted from baler twine pressed into repurposed bird netting. Her innovative techniques are labour-intensive and repetitive, with thousands upon thousands of these marks accumulating into textured, tactile works. These delicate forms are organic and fluid, reflecting the essence of water.
