Join us for an exciting opportunity at beautiful "Monmar" (Police Point Shire Park in Portsea) to explore the art of drypoint printmaking with renowned artist and teacher, Barbie Kjar.

During the workshop, you'll be introduced to the basics of creating a drypoint on acetate using a variety of hand tools. You will have the chance to sketch your designs on paper in the scenic surroundings of Point Nepean, which can later be transferred onto acetate plates for inscription and printing.

Barbie will demonstrate how to apply ink to the surface of the acetate and print your creation using an etching press. By the end of the session, every participant will have created and printed their own unique drypoint print.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a master printmaker and enjoy a day of creativity in a stunning natural setting!

As Baldessin Press Studios note, “Barbie Kjar is a talented teacher as well as a superb artist, and her generosity, professionalism, and sense of fun always make working with her a truly inspiring experience.”
