Emma Davies: Studio Visit + lunch conversation at Studio & Co.

The day begins at MPRG with a viewing of Tethered Threads, Emma’s latest solo exhibition.

Then, we’ll travel together by minibus to Frankston South for an exclusive visit to Emma’s home studio, nestled within a stunning Alister Knox-designed mudbrick house surrounded by native bushland.

This is a rare opportunity to step inside a working artist’s space, gain insight into Emma’s creative process and see firsthand the materials, methods and inspirations behind her intricate woven sculptures.

After the studio tour, we continue to Studio & Co. in Moorooduc for a shared lunch and an in-conversation with Emma Davies and Kelli Lundberg, Gallerist (Kelli Lundberg Art) and registered Art Valuer for the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.

Together, they’ll unpack the knowings behind Emma’s stunning work, talk about the Artist and Gallerist connection and encourage you to both enquire and question in the relaxed, casual setting.

12.30pm - Lunch & conversation at Studio & Co. (90 mins)
2.15 - 2.30pm - Bus back to MPRG
