LIVE - Durational Situation / Monmar
A one day event incorporating 2 live performances will be presented in conjunction with the audio walk on Saturday 26 November. The performers will be situated within the spatial score of the walk, responding to the human and non-human sonic layers of the point including ship horn signals, ocean winds, plant life, birds and insects.
Performers Southern Peninsula Concert Band; Allan Fenney (euphonium) Juliette Theobald (french horn) Paul Donnelly (trombone) Tom Fagan (tuba) Benjamin Woods (glass flutes, sculptural objects) Caroline Connors (voice, objects) Flora Carbo (saxophone).
This event is presented as part of Front Beach, Back Beach (FBBB), an exciting new project delivered by Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery and Deakin University's Public Art Commission. FBBB has commissioned leading Australian artists to respond to key sites and stories that have shaped the Mornington Peninsula. For the full program visit www.fbbb.com.au
