Plastic Oceans Australasia is an organisation which works throughout the region to eliminate plastic waste by challenging society’s perception that this indestructible substance is ‘disposable’.
Liz and Ricki will discuss the inspiration for the exhibition and the problems of plastic waste.
This is a free event however please register your attendance, so we know to expect you! Light refreshments will be served.
Plastic lasts forever and that’s a long, long time……… While we were sleeping is an exhibition responding to plastic waste washed up on our Mornington Peninsula shores exposing its detrimental effect on our marine and bird life. It has been supported by the Mornington Peninsula Shire under their community grants program.
Park at the Quarantine Station information car park and follow the directions to the Foul Luggage store.
