MPRG Summer exhibitions launch

Unfolding is a major exhibition celebrating the diversity and dynamism of works on paper by First Nations artists. Featuring prints, drawings, paintings on paper and sculptural works from the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (MPRG) permanent collection, located on Bunurong Country, the exhibition unfolds to reveal the many ways First Nations artists engage with paper as a medium.

Curated in collaboration with Gulumerridjin (Larrakia), Wardaman, and KarraJarri artist and curator Jenna (Mayilema) Lee, Unfolding recognises the significance of paper as a powerful tool for the transfer of knowledge, stories, and contemporary artistic expression.

Featuring Nici Cumpston, d harding, Robert Fielding, Fiona Foley, Brian Martin, Danie Mellor, Queenie McKenzie, Sally Morgan, Gloria Petyarre, Brian Robinson, Teho Ropeyarn, Lisa Waup, Dominic White and many more.
