Helen Britton: The Story So Far is an intimate and evocative exhibition by one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, presented as part of Living Treasures: Masters of Australian Craft. Drawing on memory, making and matrilineal creativity, the exhibition reflects Britton’s deep connection to her great aunt Kath Carr and the richly inventive world of country women along the Clarence River (Yaegl Country). Featuring new works spanning jewellery, painting, installation, drawing and photography, The Story So Far reveals the personal origins of an extraordinary international practice. Natalia Milosz-Piekarska: Sifted Light In Sifted Light, contemporary jeweller and artist Natalia Milosz-Piekarska translates the raw beauty of the Mornington Peninsula in to a poetic collection of sculptural and wearable works. Guided by her deep connection to the land and sea, and shaped by years of craftsmanship and material experimentation, Natalia’s abstracted works seek to capture fleeting, luminous moments where light, texture, and wonder meet.
