A visit to Emma’s studio in Flinders allows further insight into her remarkable creative expression. The calm and composed landscape of her home-based studio inspires her work and cultivates a sense of natural coolness and unwavering ease.

Consider also how foraged materials such as pine needles, horsehair, bark and grasses shape a woven work both delicately and decisively and how the subtlety of Emma’s weaving also resembles foliage, trees, shrubs and sands from the Flinders shore.
