NWOP Artist talks and workshops at Beleura House & Garden
Join Danny Lacy MPRG Artist Director / Senior Curator and three NWOP finalists , Roma McLaughlin, Kylie Stillman and Elizabeth Banfield as they discuss their works in the recent NWOP exhibition.
After the talks, a brunch of ribbon sandwiches, sweet treats and tea/coffee will be served on the upper terrace. The 90-minute artist workshops will commence after brunch and will be set up in the gardens in a partial outdoor, COVIDSafe environment.
At the time of booking, please reserve your space in one of the following workshops:
Kylie Stillman: Learn the art of paper sewing and take home your own hand-made gift card and small artwork keepsakes. All materials provided.
[BOOKED OUT] Roma McLaughlin: Enjoy an introduction to the folk tradition of paper cutting and its modern-day art form. Practice using a scalpel as a cutting tool and work on a simple project with templates provided. Please bring an A4 self-healing cutting mat (available at most craft stores)
[BOOKED OUT] Elizabeth Banfield: Create your own worry box with handprinted life-sized gum leaves and crumpled Japanese paper to store your own familiar, habitual worries. All materials provided, however bring along an old apron or shirt to protect your clothes whilst you have some inky fun!

The talks and the workshops will be held at the beautiful Beleura House & Garden however these is no parking onsite parking at Beleura. Please park at the Mornington Golf Club and a courtesy bus will take you in to the venue. Bus shuttles will commence at 9.30am
