Join us in this insightful conversation with local Peninsula based artist Neil Williams and MPRG Director, Danny Lacy

This body of work Girt by Sea by Neil Williams explores the coastline of the Mornington Peninsula where Neil lives and works, and its vast vistas across Bass Straight. It evolved from a series produced whilst on artist’s residency at Police Point Shire Park, Point Nepean in May 2021.

Neil and Danny will discuss the historical references in his work and how the discovery of Eugene Von Guerard’s sketch books, dated from 1858, influenced Neil’s connection to the Mornington Peninsula coastline and the outcome of this exhibition.
