Friday 6 February: SAOIRSE

Born in Ireland, indie, soul, folk fairy SAOIRSE draws from her Celtic and Folk roots giving her a unique sound. Using her poems and improvisation as a lyrical springboard, SAOIRSE pushes her vocal boundaries in a constantly evolving bed of sound. Akin to the soulful modern giants, RAYE and Yebba, SAOIRSE integrates her Celtic/Folk sounds that compliment her writing style.

Friday 13 February: DJ Benny
DJ Blind Benny is a Mornington Peninsula–based vinyl DJ all about the groove, spinning jazzy soul, blues, funk and anything with that irresistible beat from the 1950s to the early 1980s.

Unfolding: First Nations Works on Paper is a major exhibition celebrating the diversity and dynamism of works on paper by First Nations artists in the MPRG collection. The exhibition reveals how First Nations artists have used paper as a material to demonstrate a particular kind of strength and permanence – one that holds, carries and expresses identity, body and self, language, connection to Country, history and community.
