PLAYABLE STREETS land at MPRG!

Get ready for a day of silly, surprising and super-creative fun! Inspired by the surrealists’ famous Exquisite Corpse game and the imaginative world of artist Michael Vale, this playful, drop-in workshop invites kids to invent wild characters and unexpected stories together.

Mix and match heads, middles and bottoms to build quirky 3D characters in a colourful interactive installation on the MPRG forecourt. Will your creation have robot legs, a dinosaur tail, or a teacup for a head? There are no wrong answers—just lots of imagination!

Inside, dive into the Exquisite Stories workbooks to create short, funny or fantastical tales. Then bring your characters to life by giving them different voices, personalities and adventures.

The workshops run from 10am–3pm, and it’s a come-anytime, stay-as-long-as-you-like session—perfect for popping in during your visit to the gallery.

This is a FREE event, however please book your child/children in, so we know to expect you.

Ages: 5+
Please note: Children 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult co-creator.
