Playable Streets return to MPRG for a multigenerational day!

Join us for a day of silly, surprising and super-creative fun! Inspired by the surrealists’ famous Exquisite Corpse game and the imaginative world of artist Michael Vale, these playful, drop-in workshops invites kids and elders to invent wild characters and unexpected stories together.

Exquisite Stories is a playful participatory workshop where people create surprising characters in their Exquisite Stories workbooks. Participants then bring those creations to life through simple storytelling exercises. They build a short story with a beginning, middle, and end, add dialogue, and explore how each character might sound through different voices. Here’s an opportunity to collaborate across generations and see what develops!

Sessions running every hour - 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm

This is a FREE event, however please book in, so we know to expect you.

Ages: 5-100
Please note: Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
