Slow Art Collective’s Weaving architecture loom and activity hub

slow art image.jpg

Start the weekend off with a blast of colour and a hive of activity with Slow Art Collective’s creative activities for the entire family in their custom built, Archi-Loom, a gigantic Loom shelter construction which is woven into by the public.

You can task yourself with contributing to the modular connect build system as well as weave, paint and participate in the traditional colouring process of Tataki-Zome.

Tataki-Zome is an ecological printing technique where the natural dyes of leaves and flowers are transferred to paper or fabric using a hammer pounding method. Sounds like rowdy fun to me!
