Drop-in kids’ session: Insect ochre painting hour.

Join us for a 1‑hour MPRG‑facilitated session where you can use sticks and ochre to paint a Sammy Trist (Taungwurrung) insect and add your creation to a collaborative community artwork.

Ochre, a natural earth pigment formed from clay infused with iron oxide, has long held deep cultural significance for First Peoples. It is valued for its use in art, ceremony, and healing, and as a powerful symbol of connection to Country.

No bookings required.
