Join us to launch our five new and exciting exhibitions at MPRG!

Speeches will begin at 2.30pm and Councillor Sarah Race from the Nepean Ward will be officiating. We are delighted to also welcome music students from Rosebud Secondary College who to perform during the afternoon. This is a free event and light refreshments will be served. Please register your attendance as numbers are limited.

Collection+ Louise Rippert / Steve Carr - Forms for Remembering is the second iteration of our Collection+ series which brings together the distinct individual practices of Melbourne based artist Louise Rippert in conversation with dynamic New Zealand contemporary artist Steve Carr.

Recent Acquisitions: MPRG collection focus present a selection of works acquired over the turbulent last 2 years, that capture how our collection continues to grow and diversify through the generous donations of artists and collectors, our National Works on paper prize and a surprise Bequest.

New Wave 22 is an important addition to the MPRG exhibition program, showcasing the creative ideas of a new generation of artists as they take their place in our rich and vibrant creative community on the Mornington Peninsula.

Kate Wallace - A place once travelled looks at ideas of isolation and solitude in the landscape. In conversation with works drawn from the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery's collection, Wallace contemplates the relationship between self and that of the surrounding environment.

Neil Williams – Girt by Sea is an exhibition of new seascape paintings by Mornington Peninsula based artist Neil Williams. This new body of work was inspired by Neil’s artist residency at Police Point Shire Park (Point Nepean) in May 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you in person!
