In this thought-provoking session, exhibiting artist and researcher Bridget Hillebrand will delve into the complex and often unseen world of deep ocean ecosystems, using printmaking as a powerful tool to explore their fragile and ever-changing nature.

“When trying to understand the complexity of climatic events I reflect on what is at risk when worlds unseen to us are assumed protected and in good health.” Bridget Hillebrand.

Hillebrand's work intertwines art, science, and environmental consciousness, offering a unique perspective on how print can capture the ecological shifts occurring beneath the ocean’s surface. Through her intricate prints, she will highlight the deep ocean's vulnerability to climate change, pollution, and human activity, drawing attention to the urgent need for conservation.

Join us at 5pm for a glass of wine and nibbles, prior to the converstaion at 5.30pm.
