New Wave 24
Calling all Mornington Peninsula VCE and VET art and design students!
Entries are now open for New Wave 24, our student exhibition celebrating the talent and creativity of student artists from Government, Catholic and Independent schools across the Mornington Peninsula Shire.
New Wave 24 is an important addition to the MPRG exhibition program, showcasing the creative ideas of a new generation as they take their place in our rich and vibrant creative community on the Mornington Peninsula.
All mediums are welcome, including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, mixed media, ceramics, film and printmaking.
Our first two student exhibitions have been hugely successful, drawing much comment and admiration from our visitors. This year we are continuing to build on our success with applications open to students studying all of the creative studies.
If you are studying any of these subjects, this exhibition is for you!

@mprg_vic @jcslifee talks to Jill, our education officer, about one of her favourite works in New Wave 23, Harriet Akester’s The Road to Mayhem. She gives her advice for year 11 and 12s wanting to pursue a career in art - they should investigate issues in their art that are true to them. #newwave23 #vceart #vceartfolio #year12art ♬ original sound - MPRG
